The success of yoga does not lie in the ability to perform poses but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships.

It’s okay if you can’t touch your knees or raise your hands above your shoulders. You can do yoga. You may be the one who needs it most.
We can do yoga sitting in a chair, in regular clothes. We can stand up and do simple movements. The key is moving with the breath.
Try it: raise your arms in the air, and bring them back down. Now let’s do it again, but this time raise your arms with a slow, deep inhalation, and then match the downward movement with your exhalation, controlling your breath so that you finish exhaling when your hand returns to the starting position.
Notice the difference? It’s so simple, yet powerful.
“Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter your flame.”
BKS Iyengar
